Tanay, Rizal is fast becoming a resort and camping hub at the east side of Metro Manila. Breathtaking taking views, cold weather and affordable stays are just around the corner so more people wanted to experience what Tanay has to offer.
Speaking of experiencing Tanay, I’ve found an off the beaten track resort that offers the comforts of city living while enjoying the beauty of nature. It’s a hidden paradise that should be known to more travelers seeking for a new adventure. Let me introduce you to Rainbow Forest Paradise Resort.
Going here is quite tricky, there is a road leading you to Daranak Falls which is the one that we took. I wouldn’t recommend it and don’t you ever dare to try especially when your driving a sedan. Daranak Road is really bumpy, rocky, and dangerous.
The best way is to pin your maps to Lambingan Hills. From there, it will just take you 15 mins to reach Sitio Dagat dagatan in Barangay Cuyambay. Continue driving straight, there is a stream that you need to cross. You might get a little worried but the water is already filled with rocks so you can pass by.
2 hours of drive is worth it once you see the place. Rainbow Forest Paradise Resort has two phase, a private and public pool. They have cottages, accomodation, and huge camping site. Let me tour you around.
The private resort can cater up to 50 people. It has a villa and pool for kids to enjoy.
Pool here is quite good but wait til I show you the infinity pool in Phase 2.
The Villa has complete amenities. There’s a kitchen, dining area, and living space. It also has two rooms that can fit 8 to 10 people.
If you needed extra beds, they can set it up for you.
Imagine dining here with this amazing view! I would definitely try it out!
Loving the view more at the roof top. They have barbeque pit and a huge space to just unwind with the whole family.
The Infinity pool in Phase 2 is huge. I love the architecture behind it. Dip in the cold water while looking at the beautiful facade of mountain ranges. To add entertainment, it features a small fountain.
They have a circular pool as well so you have a choice where to swim at.
This house is for day rent or overnight stay. We’ve checked in here to be closer to the infinity pool. The resort also has newly built rooms to serve more guests.
It has dining area, shower room, and living space to chill. Upstairs is the bedroom and veranda.
The bedroom is spacious. I love how clean it is. Up to 6 to 8 people can sleep here comfortably. The resort is really cold at night because its situated at the foot of the mountain. No need for air conditioning, not even fans.
In the morning, you can marvel at this magnificent view.
I just can’t stop taking pictures. Every corner is picture perfect.
There is a nearby camp site that features fantastic view of Tanay. It’s called Kaingin you can walk from your hotel going here. Check it out! It’s worth to visit for just P100 per person.
Here is another instagrammable spot at Kaingin.
What further excites me is their tree house. I was really excited climbing at the top.
At night, I continue to plunge at the pool of Rainbow Forest Paradise Resort. I can’t stop it even though it’s cold. I truly enjoyed staying here and I highly recommend for you to visit here. For more information and reservation visit their Facebook page or call 09605877561 and 09682976175.
