Best Food Preparations for Healthier Christmas! Enjoy it with Beko!

Christmas is coming and it will always be the most celebrated occasion specially for Filipinos. It is that time of the year where we excitedly prepare our most loved dishes for our family and special ones. With the use of Beko cookers and refrigerator, we can always make it happen.

On Christmas, we always prepare ham, lechon and a lot more delicious yet fatty foods.  It has been a tradition or even a norm to eat lavishly during this season but remember there’s always health that we compromise.  Now, I came up with a healthy list that will give you options to change those usual dishes on your family table. It is not only healthy but worth to take a picture too.

1) DIY Avocado Tuna Salad

Cut whole avocado then mix it with canned tuna (drained), celery, chopped English cucumber, red onion, 2 tablespoons of olive oil, and squeezed 1 whole lemon. Toss the salad and season it with salt and peeper. Cool it in the fridge then serve with smile!

2) Mixed Fruits and Veggies Salad

3) Chicken Macaroni

Choose the healthier version by putting more carrots and veggies. Chill it overnight.

Mix 1 cup of oats with 3 tablespoons of honey, 3 tablespoons of lemon juice, 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract and half cup of almond milk. Put it in a jar/glass. Top it with slice of lemon and grated lemon. Chill it overnight!

5) Greek Salad

Don’t forget to be Greek-y by putting sliced cucumbers, tomatoes, green bell pepper, red onion, olives, and feta cheese! Serve it better when it cold!

6) Tuna Cucumber Cups

This is best for appetizer. Entice your guests with something healthy and not too heavy in the tummy.

How to:
Cut the cucumber then top it with tuna spread and a little bit of pepper. Chill for some time.

These kinds of food will give your Christmas feast a new take. Let us gives ourselves presents by taking care of our health.
